DO YOU KNOW ANY OF MY FAMILY??

I have been looking for information on William Monroe Shannon born in 1831 in Pennsylvania, but lived in Iowa for most of his life. I know that he married Mary D. Bunker in 1853 in Lowell, Henry Iowa. They had many children together(8). I would love to know more about them. I would also like to know if William's parents George and Lizzie(SMITH) Shannon also came to Iowa with William. I don't know anything about his parents. I WOULD LOVE any info anyone may have.
William Shannon and Mary D. Bunker are the partents of my GR. Gr. Gr. Grandmother Almira Katherine Shannon... OH HOW I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM>>>stories, pictures, names etc...
I know that William did remarry serveral times as his first wife died in 1869. William also died in 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
