Artimacy's maiden name was Richards, born in Virginia, according to a biography of son, Samuel Miller, in Biographical History of Montgomery and Adams Counties, Iowa, Chicago: Lewis Publishing, 1892.
Isaac's father was Samuel Miller, born Feb. 4, 1762. His wife was Christiana Minick, born Apr. 31, 1766. Their Bible Record is in "Franklin County, Indiana Cemetery Records, Bible Records, M.E. Church Records...", Mrs.Roscoe C.O'Byrne, compiler, for Twin Forks Chapter, DAR, Brookville, IN, 1948. (p.83-84.)
