I am sorry I do not have info on your query, but I was wondering if you may be able to help out my search. I am helping a friend search for a woman or her extended family. Her name in 1937-1938, was Dorothy Wilson and she lived in the Davenport - Bettendorf, Iowa area,(Quad Cities), at least during that time. We assume she married and had a name change.

My friend will be 70 this summer. He was placed for adoption at birth and his birth mother is listed as a single woman named Dorothy Wilson. That is all we know for sure, but rumors were that she was a school teacher and that she was a good singer. Those are not facts.

Any information would be wonderful.
