ROOT family

Has anyone ever seen a ROOT family in the Mt. Pleasant area? I have a Carrie C. ROOT, b. 15 Aug 1866 Mt. Pleasant, Henry Co IA to parents Daniel ROOT of IA and Fannie Emily REID of KY. I cannot seem to place the ROOT family in IA 1850 or 1860. Fannie Emily REID ROOT marries again in 1876 in New Albany, Floyd Co IN to my relative. My guess is that Daniel ROOT must die between 1865-1876 either IA or IN/KY. Thank you!
