Glass/Caldwell descendants from OH to IA

Mary Caldwell and John Glass were married in Ross Co OH 29 Feb 1844 and lived in Ross Co at least through the 1860 census. I cannot find them on the 1870 census and they appear to have both died before 1878 when the will of William Caldwell, their uncle, was probated in Ross Co. Mary's share of his estate was devided among her children: Crawford, Samuel, Henry, Sarah (Harris), Mary 'Margaret'(Brown), all specifically mentioned by name in the probate proceedings.
Crawford Glass remained and died in OH; Sarah and her husband moved to IL; Samuel, Catherine and Henry settled in Iowa.
Samuel was on the 1870 Dallas Co, IA census with his sister Catharine who married William B. Harr. He lived with his brother in Henry Co on the 1880 census but returned to OH on the 1900 census.
Henry, too, lived in Dallas Co on the 1870 census but moved to Henry Co by 1880, where he lived at least through the 1920 census. I have not been able to find a marriage record, death record or obituary for Henry but the census shows that he married a woman named Jennie who was born in IA (parents both born in NY).
They had three children:
1. Moses "Dale" Glass b. Dec 1879 IA; m. Lydia Niemeyer and died in Winfield 21 Jul 1950. I did find his obit but it didn't mention his parents.
2. Nellie Glass b. ca 1881 IA m. W. E. Green;
3. Henry Edison/Edson Glass b. Oct 1886 IA; d. Feb 1963 IA; daughter, Mira Patricia Glass b. ca 1926 IA;

Does anyone know if marriage and death records for this period might be available at the county level? I would also like to contact any descendants of Nellie Glass Green or Henry "Edison" Glass.
