Mt Pleasant hospital for the insane

Does anyone know if there are Medical records from the Mt Pleasant Hospital for the insane still around? I am looking for medical records of a grandmother, Ella Chadwick. We have so many conflicting stories. I am interested in the years 1886 - 1892. Any information would be great.
