Died - At her residence in this city on Thursday, Aug. 19. Mrs. Agnes Mosley, colored, at the advanced age of 90 years. Mrs. Mosley came to this city during the war with her children. Mrs. Mosley was born a slave, but years before the war, she, by her own industry purchased her freedom from her owner, paying him $500 for her liberty. Here she was known as a kind, motherly and industrious woman. In her old age she was cared for by her children here. She leaves a family of five children, Mrs. Wm. Page, Mrs. Alfred Mason, Mrs. C.H. Nunley, J.W. and Moses Mosley. Mrs. C.H. Nunley lives in Missouri, and the rest of the family are residents of this city. The funeral was largely attended on Friday afternoon of last week. Rev.
