Robert Unterkircher
Robert D. Unterkircher, 81, of rural Danville, died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born Aug. 18, 1921, in Burlington, he was the son of Humboldt H. and Pearl Davies Unterkircher. On Nov. 26, 1953, he married Edith L. Larson in Denmark.
Mr. Unterkircher was a farmer.
He was a 1939 graduate of Danville High School and attended Burlington Junior College. He was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Danville.
Survivors include his wife and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
The funeral for Mr. Unterkircher will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel, with Pastor Dan Buck officiating. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery in rural Danville.
Memorials have been established for Hope Haven and Great River Medical Center Hospice.
