Aaron Kelly
Aaron Bryce Kelly, 61, of rural West Point, died at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born June 2, 1939, in Burlington, he was the son of Lynford and Madge Williams Kelly. He married Carol Holsteen on June 22, 1958, in Denmark.
Mr. Kelly was a farmer.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Harmony Bible Church, where he served on the board of directors for 20 years.
He enjoyed coaching and playing basketball.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Lyn Boal of Winona Lake, Ind.; three sons, Craig Kelly of Denmark, Grant Kelly of Morning Sun and Shannon Kelly of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Joyce Hanna of Sacramento, Calif., and Gloria Pruett of Greer, S.C.; one brother, Brail Kelly of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Friends may call from 2 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Harmony Bible Church, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mr. Kelly will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Harmony Bible Church, with the Rev. Kirk Johnston officiating
