Vera Leedham
New London – Vera Leedham, 80, New London, died Friday, Jan. 7 at St. Francis Continuation Care Center, Burlington.
She was born Oct. 4, 1902 to Edmund and Luella Parks Walker at New London, where she married Elmer R. Leedham, June 21, 1927. He died July 29, 1974.
Mrs. Leedham was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta. She was a member of the New London United Methodist Church, the Chapter H TTT, and the Ricordo Club.
Surviving two nephews, Hayward Rogers, San Francisco, and Andy Rogers, Galena, Ill.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday, Burge Cemetery, New London; the Rev. Herbert Gould. A memorial has been established for the Nugen Library, New London.
