MRS. MARY SCHADT TAKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. Mary Schadt, 71, died late Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Messer, near Wayland. She had been in poor health for several months. The daughter of John and Emma Ridinger, she was born February 25, 1889 in Henry County. She was married February 6, 1913 to Will Schadt who preceded her in death several years ago.

She is survived by eight sons and daughters: Joe Schadt, James Schadt, Katheryn White, and Mrs. Maxine Farr of Mt. Pleasant, John Schadt, Mrs. Ernest Messer and Mrs. Ralph Gholson of the Wayland community, and Walter Schadt of Orleans, Indiana, and by several grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Harry Smith, Mrs. Fritz Wemmje, and Dwight Ridinger all of Mt. Pleasant also survive.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:39 P.M. at the Green Mound church west of Trenton. Interment will be in Greenmound cemetery. The Zehr Funeral Home in Wayland is in charge of arrangements.

MRS. WILL SCHADT, 71, PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Will Schadt, 71, passed away shortly after midnight Thursday, January 26, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earnest Messer.

Mary Ridinger was born February 25, 1889, the daughter of John and Emma Kephart Ridinger. On February 6, 1913, she was married to Will Schadt who preceded her in death October 25, 1955.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Katheryn White, (next two lines illegible), Mrs. Ralph Gholson, Rural Wayland; four sons, Joe and James, Mt. Plesant, Walter, Orleans, Indiana, and John, Rural Wayland; two sisters, Mrs. Katie Smith and Mrs. Alice Wemmje, and one brother, Fernie, all of Mt. Pleasant;' 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A sister and brother preceded her in death.

The body was taken from the Zehr Funeral Home to the Green Mound church where services were held Sunday January 29 at 1:30 P.M. with Rev.e Dalane Stephens in charge and burial was in the Green Mound cemetery. Casket bearers were Melvin Campbell, Max Campbell, Lloyd Hinkle, Elmer Smith, John Hinkle, and Allen Rich.
