Frank Schadt, 83, died at Rest Haven Nursing Home Saturday January 4 about 7:30 P.M. The son of John and Sophia Ensminger Schadt, he was born January 8, 1886 in Henry County. He was a lifelong resident of Henry County and Mt. Pleasant, farming in Trenton township for many years. He worked for the city of Mt. Pleasant for 12 years. Mr. Schadt never married.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ida Ridinger of Mt. Pleasant, Rt. 3, Mrs. Anna Lynn of West Chester, and Mrs. Jessie Shuppy of Lockridge; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday, January 8, at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home, Rev. Glen Richard, pastor of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery. Friends may call at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home as they desire.
