Word has been received here of the death of former United Presbyterian minister, Rev. Robert I. Rushing of Rogers, Ark., who passed away Monday, May 7, 1984 in Rogers, Ark. Rev. Rushing served as pastor of the Crawfordsville United Presbyterian Church from 1960 – 1968. A private graveside service for the family was held Thursday morning, April 10 at Benson County Memorial Park in Rogers, and a memorial service at 2 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in Rogers. A memorial has been established to the School of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.

The Rev. Rushing is survived by his wife, Esther of Rogers and one son, Douglas of Kansas City.
