Victim of an Accident

Richard Ambler, one of the most prominent men in Henry County, was accidentally shot and instantly killed while out hunting near Webster’s Mills, south of Burlington. The unexpected starting of his team caused his gun to fall over and discharge, the shot striking him in the head.
