Mrs. Clara Landrum
NEW LONDON-Mrs. Clara Crystal Landrum, 86. Danville, formerly of New London, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 1:05 a.m. in the Danville Community Home.
She was born Nov. 20, 1884 in Des Moines County, the daughter of Peter and Lena Rethemeier Funk. She married Asa Landrum in New London, Sept. 27, 1905.
Mrs. Landrum was a member of the Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian church, Pleasant Grove.
Surviving: a son, Virgil Landrum, Rt. 1; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Miller, Mediapolis, Mrs. Nellie Beere, Burlington, and Mrs. Flossie Chrissinger, Wapello.
Funeral: Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian church, Rev. James Garrett; Pleasant Grove cemetery. The body is at the Elliot funeral home in New London.
