Mrs. William Calhoun
New London- Mrs. William Calhoun, 69, died Monday at 12:10 a.m. in Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant, after an extended illness.
The former Margaret Elizabeth Brown, was born in New London, Sept. 20, 1877, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Burge Brown. Sept. 25, 1902, she married William H. Calhoun at Mt. Pleasant. For the past 10 years, the couple has lived in New London. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints church in Burlington.
Surviving are her husband, 2 sons, Albert and Audrey, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Bice, Riverside, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. Myrah Martin, New London; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body was taken to Elliot chapel, New London
