Death of Mrs. Robert Jones

Mrs. Robert J. Jones, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Z. Nugent, died last Wednesday, July 31st, in Des Moines, following a short illness. She attended the schools at New London, the Iowa Wesleyan college at Mt. Pleasant, where she took music, and also had 2-1/2 years of nurse's training at the Mercy hospital, in Des Moines. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, and Pythian Sisters, and the Presbyterian church.

On July 12, 1913, she was united in marriage to Robert J. Jones, of Ida Grove, and to this union was born one son, Robert Jr. She leaves besides her husband and nine year old son, her father J. Z. Nugent; sisters, Mrs. F. R. Mehler of New London; Mrs. Homer Prettyman and Mrs. Ethey Knuckey of Buenos Aires, South America, and a brother, Will Nugent, of Eureka, California. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Harback's funeral home in Des Moines, the Rev. Elton Miller officiating. Burial was made at New London.
