OBITUARY:

DEATH CLAIMS INFANT - Little Son of Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Kauffman Dies Tuesday Morning:

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kauffman are experiencing a season of unspeakable grief because of the death of their little son, Rex, which occurred about 7:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. The baby had been in his usual health until early Monday morning when he became restless and a few hours later, showing indications of serious illness, the family physician was called and the little fellow was apparently given relief. The doctor saw him again in the evening and he appeared better. However, during the night he became worse finally going into convulsions which soon snapped the brittle thread of life. Had Rex lived four more days, he would have been one year old. He was a bright, happy little fellow, learning something new each day and filling a large place in the home, now made desolate by the hand ___________. The funeral was held this morning at 11 o'clock at the home conducted by Rev.L. L. Miller. Interment in North Hill.
