Mina M. Crile

MOUNT PLEASANT - Mina M. Crile, 74, of Maple Leaf Village in Mount Pleasant, former Germanville area resident, died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 1993, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Maurice Lind officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Open visitation begins at noon Sunday at Weir Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8 that night. A memorial has been established to Faith Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Crile was born Feb. 1, 1918, south of Wayland, the daughter of John W. and Bertha Christner Hill. On Dec. 28, 1938, she married Kenneth J. Crile at Mount Pleasant. The couple formerly farmed in the Germanville area and attended Hope Lutheran Church there. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and was active in various church activities.

Surviving are her husband of Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Janette Ross of Mount Pleasant, Kathleen Klopfenstein of rural Trenton; four granddaughters; five brothers, Lester Hill of Wayland, Max Hill of Washington, Iowa, Jacob Hill of Baldwin Park, Calif., Kenneth and Stanley Hill, both of Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Leola Whitney of Placerville, Calif., Florence Wesley and Melva Sammons, both of Mount Pleasant. Her parents and a brother, Carl, preceded her in death.
