Rites For Mrs. Spray

HILLSBORO - Mrs. Anna Myrtle Spray, 85, died this morning at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m., in the Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wade Dillavou and the Rev. L.H. Smith officiating. The body is at the Beatty-Jennings Funeral Home in Salem.

Mrs. Spray was born Aug. 27, 1888 at Salem, the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca Frazer White. On April 15, 1909, she was married to Max Spray at Salem. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1961.

She was a lifetime resident of the Salem and Hillsboro Community.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Merrill (Dorothy) Isaccson, Mrs. Neal (Julia) Landers and Mrs. Kenneth (Clarice) Johnson, all of Stockport, Mrs. Gordon (Donna Jean) Riche of Ralston, Neb., and Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) McCabe of Salem; four sons, John Spray of Lincoln, Neb., Tom Spray of Billings, Mont., Max Spray Jr., of Taylor Ridge, Ill., and Sam Spray of Hillsboro.

She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Hodson of Mount Pleasant and Mrs. Gladys King of Fairfield and three brothers, Ralph White and George White both of Washington and Darrell White of Williamsburg.
