Ralph Wellington

Ralph Wellington, 67, died in Tempe, Ariz., about 3 a.m. Monday, May 26. He was a former New London resident.

The son of Albert and Hannah Washburn Wellington, he was born in July of 1901.

He was married to Helen Jennings, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Speck of Mesa, Ariz., one son, James K. Wellington of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four granddaughters and one grandson; one great-granddaughter; four brothers, S.J. Wellington of Mt. Pleasant, William Wellington of New London, Allen Wellington of Fort Madison and Dick Wellington of Sedonia, Ariz., three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Ball of Ft. Madison, Mrs. Ellen McFarland and Mrs. Mary Westerbeck, both of New London.

His parents and one brother predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Tempe, Ariz.

Mrs. McFarland and William Wellington flew to Tempe Monday afternoon t attend the funeral services.
