May 2, 1978L. Sanderson Dies At 61
HILLSBORO - Leo W. Sanderson, 61, died at 1:20 a.m. today at his home in Hillsboro.
He was born April 25, 1917 at Hillsboro, the son of Bert and Sylvia Clark Sanderson. He married Leona Barnett at Mount Pleasant May 31, 1937. He was a retired employee of the Iowa Malleable Iron Company in Fairfield.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Darrell, one daughter, Carolyn Haines, all of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandson; two brothers, Paul Sanderson, Fairfield and Delbert of Ohio.
Services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at Beatty Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.
