Ruth Peterson Coe

Mt. Pleasant - Mrs. Ruth (Peterson) Coe, 92, formerly of the West Chester area, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1978, at the New London Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Charles Courtney in charge. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born in June 7, 1886 at West Chester to C.E. and Mary Hester Dusenberry. She married John S. Peterson on Feb. 1, 1908. He died July 4, 1942. She married Gilbert Coe on Sept. 15, 1949. He died March 5, 1973.

Surviving are sons Loren Peterson of Wayland and Hugh Peterson of Mt. Pleasant, daughter Waunita Jump of Yampa, Colo., nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Coe was also preceded in death by two brothers.
