TIMMERMAN Rites Set

MOUNT UNION - Glen W. TIMMERMAN, 67, Route 1, Mount Union, died unexpectedly at his home Monday at 10 p.m.

He was born March 23, 1910 north of Burlington, the son of Joseph and Bertha PLOEGER TIMMERMAN. On Nov. 15, 1937 he married Marian COREY at Mount Union. The couple farmed near Fairfield until moving to Mount Union in 1966.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard GREENFIELD of Mount Pleasant; one son, Daryl of Savannah, Ga.; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret REMICK and Mrs. Edith DAY, both of Mount Pleasant and Mrs. Marie GATES of Trenton; four brothers, Guey of Mount Union, Paul of Mount Pleasant, Orval of Fairfield and Carl of Milford, Ore.

Services will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at Mount Union United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Ricks officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 7:30 to 9 p.m., at Beatty-Jennings Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
