Randy Ingwerson

Randy Lynn "Moose" Ingwerson, 57. of Mount Pleasant died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Henry County Health Care Center in Mount Pleasant.

Born March 28, 1951, in Burlington, he was the son of Raymond C. and Pauline M. Messer Ingwerson. On May 11, 1974, he married Ardith Hill in Oquawka, Ill.

Mr. Ingwerson was self employed as a drywall finisher. He worked for S.S.S. Foundry and Excide Battery Plant in Burlington. He attended Mount Pleasant Community School. He enjoyed deer hunting. Nascar and Sprint racing.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Kevin Carpenter of Fairfield; one daughter, Kimberly Pace of Chariton; three brothers, Jerry Ingwerson and Darrell Ingwerson, both of Mount Pleasant, and Roy Ingwerson, Sr. of Keosauqua; three sisters, Janet Miller of Connersville, Ind., Deloris Wood of Malvern, Ark., and Martha Garrison of Rome; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two brothers.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mr. Ingwerson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Duke Crawford officiating. The body will be cremated. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery at a later date.
