MRS. CALDWELL. 90. TAKEN IN DEATH

Mrs. Emma Jane Caldwell, 90, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Noel McGuire, southwest of Lockridge, Monday about 12:30 p.m. She has lived there the past two years moving there from Rome where she had lived for over 30 years.

The daughter of Josephus and Rebecca Huffman Messer, was born December 13, 1883 in Henry County near Rome.

On January 18, 1893, she was married to Thomas F. Caldwell, who preceded her in death in 1935.

She is survived by one son and one daughter, Wayne Caldwell of Rome and Mrs. Noel McGuire of Lockridge, rural route; one grandson, Dr. Kenneth Caldwell of Montezuma; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lavina Flanders of Lockridge; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, at 2 p.m. at the White Oak Church. Rev. C. H. Peters, pastor of the Rome Baptist Church will officiate. Friends may call as they desire at the R. K. Crane Funeral Home.
