MT. PLEASANT — Mrs. Ethel Scarff, 69, 205 S. Jackson, Mt. Pleasant, died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Henry county Memorial hospital.
She was born July 7, 1903, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of William and Cora Brannen Fickle. She married Oral Scarff. Mrs. Scarff was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic church.
Surviving: Two sons, Melvin and Marvin, both of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson and one granddaughter.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Alphonsus Catholic church, Father Paul Albers; Richwood cemetery. Rosary: 8 p.m. Friday, Beatty-Jennings chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
