Mrs. Barbara Graber

Mrs. Barbara Graber, 79, of Wayland, died about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 1971, in the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

She was born in Noble, Iowa, on august 17, 1891, the daughter of Joseph and Vrena (Widmer) Rich.

On January 30, 1912, she was married to Joseph Graber at Noble.

Surviving are her husband, 10 children: Clarence and Raymond, Mt. Pleasant; Virgil and Mrs. Boyd (Welma) Nelson of Elkhart, Ind.; Willis, Mrs. Max (Bernice) Roth, and Mrs. Dale (Beulah Mae) Swartzendruber of Wayland, Mrs. Roger (Rachel) Wyse of Bloomfield, Iowa, Mrs. Charles (Sara Lu) Frederick, Iowa city and Mrs. Wilbur (Lois) Swartzendruber of Wellman; 38 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lester Krabiel, Washington.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Mrs. Peter Graber and three grandchildren.

Funeal services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, from the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. The Rev. Vernon Gerig and Rev. Orie Roth will officiate, with the interment in Sugar Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Beatty-Jennings Funeral Chapel in Wayland.
