Charlotte Mitchell

Charlotte Janice Mitchell, 63, of Mount Pleasant, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at her home.

Born Jan. 27, 1935, in Olds, she was the daughter of Homer and Ruby Messer Adams. On Oct. 22, 1950, she married John Mitchell in Mount Pleasant.

Mrs. Mitchell worked for 12 years in the dietary department of the Mount Pleasant Mental Health Institute. She also worked in many restaurants in Mount Pleasant.

She was a former member of Olds United Church of Christ. She attended Olds High School. She enjoyed raising flowers and fish and enjoyed going to garage sales.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Rebecca Turney of Park Hills, Ky., Cynthia Bell of Boone and Marie Mitchell of Richmond, Ky.; six grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Adams of Winfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one nephew.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where the family will receives friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Mitchell will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Olds United Church of Christ, with the Revs. Ralph Draper and Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in North Wayne Township Cemetery in Olds.

Memorials have been established for Hospice of Henry County or Home Care Service.
