Roy W. Billingsley, 86, died unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 30, on the farm which the family homesteaded in 1829.
The son of Samuel H. and Katherine E. Woods Billingsley, he was born July 6, 1888. He Married Pearl Carter, who died in 1944. On July 18, 1950 he married Secial Shumaker at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.
Surviving, the wife and son, Clifton Billingsley of San Bernardino, California.
Funeral was at the Hillsboro Christian Church at 2 p.m. Thursday; the rev. Carl Mast officiating. Burial in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Crane-Ewart-Young funeral home, Mt. Pleasant, was in charge of arrangements.
