MT. PLEASANT — Homer B. Wilson, 79, died Friday evening at the home of his son, Lester, after a 3 1/2 years illness.
A short service will be hold at 2 p.m. Monday at the Crane funeral home, and at 2:30 p.m. services will be held at the Finley Methodist church with Rev. Fred Martin officiating. Burial in Finley cemetery.
Wilson was born Dec. 8, 1880 on a farm in Wayne township, Henry county, where he spent his entire life. He was the son of Cornelius G. and Emma Black Wilson, and was married Oct. 19, 1905 at Mt. Pleasant to Grace Black.
He was a member of the Finley Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Lester, Mt. Pleasant Rt. 5, two grandchildren; and a brother, Samuel R. Wilson, Burlington.
