Frank B. Farmer

Frank B. Farmer, 68, died Sunday evening at Henry County Memorial hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

He was born September 6, 1900 at Wayland, the son of Alvin S. and Sarah Eash Farmer.

On September 3, ap24 he was married at Mt. Pleasant to Ann Messer. She and four daughters survive, Mrs. Homer (Bernice) Jennings of Fairfield, Mrs. Emery (Delores) McGuire, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Clark, Mrs. Evelyn Morrow, all of Wayland.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs, Glen (Elma) Schaffer of Brighton, Mrs. Jesse (Eva) Fattig of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Roy (Wilma) Duttweiler of Brighton.

Mr. Farmer had been a Henry county rural maintenance man for the past 36 years. In early boyhood he attended the Wayland Mennonite Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at the Cottonwood United Methodist Church, Rev. Earl Streyfelter will officiate.

Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery.
