Maxine LEE, 86, Mt. Pleasant, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, June 15, 1990, at the Pleasant Manor Care Center.

She was born May 2, 1904, near New London, the daughter of James and Abigail SCOTT TUCKER. On Dec. 22, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, she married Elmer LEE.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant, and a 1923 graduate of New London High School.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Doris (Bill) CUMMINGS, Centerville, Mrs. Lavone (Eugene) EDWARDS, Plano, Texas, Mrs. Laurene (John) SPROTT, Newton, and Mrs. Merna (Dale) MILLER, Fairfield; two brothers, Harold TUCKER, New London and Frank TUCKER, Palm Desert, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, William TUCKER and Ralph TUCKER, and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel DILSAVER and Ary VINCENT.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the First Presbyterian Church and the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home.
