Gladys A. DeYarman, age 71, 306 Rose Street, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, a former resident of Winfield, died Tuesday morning, December 27, 1983 at the Morning Sun Manor.
The daughter of Joseph and Anna (Cline) Street, she was born November 9, 1983 at Des Moines County.
On June 16, 1932, she married W.E. "Bud" Deyarman at Kanhoka Mo., who preceded her in death on April 29, 1978.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. R.M. "Dutch" (Twyla) Chaney and Mrs. Carl (Baja) Thomas, both of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson and one great granddaughter; one sister, Eunice Murphy, Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
funeral services will be this afternoon, Thursday, December 29, 1983, at 2 P.M. at the McKasson-Honts Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Shiveley officiating, Music will be provided by Mrs. Keith Crawford, organist. Casketbearers; David Yocum, Earl Scott, James Honts, Everett Byerly, Jerry Beauchamp and Dale Byerly.
Interment will be in the Winfield Scott township Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant.
