MRS. LAURA KONGABLE TAKEN BY DEATH
New London- Mrs. Laura B. Kongable, 89, passed away Monday morning at 6 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.E. Tyner.

The daughter of Jane (Everson) and Isaac Wynkoop, she was born October 6, 1858 in Butler county, Ohio. On October 7, 1880 at Eaton, Ohio, she was married to George Lewis Kongable, who died in 1886. One daughter, Mintie E., also preceded her in death. Mrs. Kongable was the last surviving member of her family, three brothers having preceded her in death. She was a member of the New London Presbyterian church. She came to New London 23 years ago having previously resided in Winfield.

The following children survive: Mrs. Jennie E. Owens of Omaha, Nebr.; Ora E. Kongable of Novelty, Mo.; James E. Kongable and Ellis W. Kongable, Winfield; Mrs. Clara B. Tyner of New London; also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 Wednesday from the Elliott chapel in New London. Dr. F.W. Eastwood, pastor of the Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Winfield Scott Township cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
