Mary Caroline Wilson, 56, 411 Valley, died in Burlington hospital at 9:27 p.m. Thursday. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born Feb. 11, 1899, in Henry County, the daughter of William and Sadie Williams Wilson, and came to Burlington 31 years ago. She was a well-known waitress, having worked for the past 12 years at the Elks Club and prior to that 14 years at the Auto Eat Cafe`. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her father, William A. Wilson, Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Arley Wilson, Cedar Rapids, and William Wilson, Burlington; also two nieces and a nephew. Her mother is dead. Services will be held in Prugh's Chapel, Saturday at 2 p.m. Dr. George Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
