Milton Weaver Taken By Death
Milton Weaver, 84, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.H. Stotler of West Branch, at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Mr. Weaver was a long-time resident of Mt. Pleasant, residing on East Washington street prior to his wife's death in 1944. He had recently made his home with his daughter in West Branch.Mr. Weaver was employed at the state hospital for over fifty years, having held various responsible positions. He was a member of the Methodist church, serving as Sunday School superintendent for many years. Mr. Weaver was a member of the Masonic lodge and the Odd Fellows.
Surviving are five daughters. Mrs. Roy L. Mayhew of Baton Rouge, La.; Mrs. William H. Stotler of West Branch; Helen D. Weaver of Buhl, Minn.; Mrs. Guy H. Thompson of Springfield, Ill.; and Mrs. Warren W. East of Shelbina, Mo.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Crane Funeral Home and interment will be in Forest Home cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the funeral.
