MRS. P. NUGEN PASSES AWAY
__________________________New London Woman Succumbs At Her Home After Short Illness

New London, Ia, May 29, Mrs. Priscilla Nugen, a pioneer settler of Henry County, passed away at 5:20 Wednesday morning at her home west of New London. She suffered a stroke of paralysis over two weeks ago.Mrs. Nugen was the daughter of the late Chas. and Matilda Wright and was born July 10, 1850. Coming to New London as a bride 47 years ago. Her husband, Richard Nugen, preceded her in death 29 years ago. She is survived by two children, Mrs. Chas. Leedham of New London and Henry Nugen at the present time, a patient at the Burlington hospital. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Wellar of Gravity, Ia. and Mrs. W. Little of Des Moines.
A sister, Mrs. J.R. Stafford passed away, April 23. Three brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be announced later.
