Sister of W. Kramer Dies at C. Junction
Mrs. Cathrin Gabriel of Columbus Junction died Sunday in a Cedar Rapids nursing Home. She had been ill some tine.
Mrs Gabriel was 72 years old. She was born near Columbus Junction on September 2, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kramer. On January 29, 1902 she was married to Chester Gabriel who died August 11, 1953.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Gabriel of Cedar Rapids and Donald Gabriel of Columbus Junction, and five grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters also survive; William Kramer of Winfield; A.R. Kramer of Burlington; David Kramer of Texas; Mrs. Anna Moody of Davenport; Mrs Bertha Votroubek of Columbus Junction.
Funeral services were held at Spephens funeral home at Columbus Junction Tuesday afternoon at 2:00. The Rev. Grorge C. Pennington, Pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery.
