Mrs. Anna Moody Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Anna Moody, 84, widow of Fred Moody, died Sunday, July 31,1960, at the Burlington Hospital where she had been a patient since July 20.
Anna Lee Kramer, the daughter of Joseph and Matilda Brewer Kramer was born January 31, 1876 in Louisa County, Iowa. She married Fred Moody August 29, 1895, at Columbus City. He died April 5, 1939.
Twenty seven years of her life were spent in and around Winfield where she was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include seven children: Mrs. Jessie Rees of Crawfordsville, Raymond E. of Burlington, Charles L. os Winfield, Mrs. Alice Meyer of Davenport and richard of Nashville, Tenn., two brothers William Kramer of Winfield and Alfred Kramer of Burlington; one sister, Mrs Bertha Votroubek of Columbus Junction; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Methodist Church in Winfield with Rev. David F. Barker officiating. Interment was in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.
