Winifred Kramer
Winifred Pearl Kramer, passed away early Sunday morning, March 11, 1973 at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
The daughter of Irven A. and Ida E. (Adams) Gruver, she was born September 20, 1893 at Hayes County, Neb.
On September 6, 1911 she was united in marriage with Wm. J. Kramer at Burlington, Ia. He preceded her in death on march 8, 1967.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors of America, and of the Senior Federated Women's Club.
She is survived by one son, Beryl of New London; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Geary of Mt. Union and Mrs Chrystal Davis of Coal Valloey, Ill.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Violet Mae Ross; one grandson; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were conduted at 2 P.M., Tuesday, March 13, at the United Methodist Church, Winfield with Rev. Charles Sommers and Rev. Charles Courtney officiating.
Mrs. Richard Nelson was organist and Robert W. Johnson, soloist. Casket bearers were Verl Gruver, Jack Geary, Bernard Krieger, Wallace Geary, James Cox and LeRoy Quinlin. Interment was in Winfield Scott Township Cenetery, Winfield. Barton-Mckasson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
