David Rader
David Lee Rader, 64, of Keokuk and formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Born June 27, 1943, in Kansas City, Kan., he was the son of Joseph and Sarah Richmond Rader. He married Cherie Bardon. They later divorced.

Mr. Rader was a salesman and auctioneer. He worked for KILJ radio, Culligan and sold cars. He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, music, karaoke, singing and dancing.

Survivors include one son, Noah Radar of Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Lenea Doyle of Sedalia, Mo., and Sarah Rader of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Sherry Dietrick of Mount Pleasant; one brother, James Allen of Forsythe, Mo.; one half brother Carl Rader of Wichita, Kan.; one half sister, Marta Jo Murphy of Wichita Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, stepfather, one stepsister and one stepbrother.

There will be no visitation. His body has been cremated. An informal memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel in New London.

A memorial has been established.
