Mrs. Lindsay, former N.L. native, dies

Mrs. Traeva Lindsay, 73, Lombard, Ill., a native of New London, died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan, 25, at Elmhurst Memorial hospital, Elmhurst, Ill.

The daughter of Perry and Theresa Wright Hanks, she was born June 19, 1902. She married D. V. Lindsay. She was a member of the United Methodist church and Order of Eastern Star at Lombard.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Marlene Rench, Lombard, Ill., and Yvonne Hinchee of Oklahoma; three brothers, Rex Hanks, Lombard, Glen Hanks, Peoria, Ill., and William Hanks, Burnsville, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Elliott Chapel. Dr. Carl E. Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Burge cemetery. A memorial has been established.
