Mrs. Angie C. Lewelling, matron of the girls reform school at Mitchellville, died of onsumption on the morning of February 5. She was a native of Salem, Henry County, as was also her husband, with whom she was appointed from infancy. She was in her 36th year and was one of the loveliest of women in character as she was beautiful in person. Her death has cast a deep gloom over the community, and will be sad news to thousands all over Iowa. She leaves her husband and three little girls aged 11, 7 and 3 years.
