The funeral of Mrs. Emily Mathews was held at the Congregational Church Friday morning at 11 o'clock. She was born in Massachusetts, Nov. 8, 1834 and died at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Sept. 6, 1905. Besides the husband, four sons are left to mourn the loss. They are Wallace and Ray of Danville, Pearlee*, of Mt. Pleasant, and Joe of Middletown. Interment at the Jaggar cemetery.
