FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. JOHN HAMILTON

The memorial service for Mrs. Elizabeth Hamilton was held Tuesday afternoon at the Cookes Funeral Home at 2:30 with Dr. George O. Hunt the officiating minister. Mrs. Will McClaran and Marvin Long sang and Mrs. Dan Winter played the organ. Pallbearers were Gale Chase, Floyd Lane, Rober Willits, Lee Anderson James Moore and Robert Kinne. Burial was in the Forest Home Cemetery.

Elizabeth Jeanette Kinmonth was born in Delhi, New York, December 8, 1848, the daughter of Scottish parents, and passed from this life Easter morning, April 21, 1946, at her home in Mt. Pleasant.

She grew to young womanhood in the East and then came to the middle west to visit her brother, John, who lived near Winfield. She remained in Henry county and taught the Franklin school for several years before going back east to teach in the public schools of Asbury Park, N.J. for sixteen years.

In 1892 she married John Hamilton who passed away a few years ago. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by a nephew, Max Shaun of Columbus Junction.
