John Wise

John D. Wise, 50, of Boulder Colo., died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at a Colorado Springs care facility after a brief illness.

Born Jan. 21, 1949, in Burlington, he was the son of Roy W. and Helen Kratz Wise.

Mr. Wise was developmentally disabled and was affiliated for most of his adult life with Carmel Community Living in Boulder. He was employed through Boulder County Enterprises. He had lived in Burlington, New London and Mediapolis, and Fort Morgan and Greeley, Colo.

He attended Cornerstone Church of Boulder Valley in Boulder and enjoyed music, dancing and being with his friends.

Survivors include one sister, Judith Bond of Stevens Point, Wis.; one brother, Frederic of Cascade, Colo.; two sisters-in-law; one niece; three nephews; one great-niece; and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

The funeral for Mr. Wise will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cornerstone Church of Boulder Valley, followed by a memorial luncheon at Carmel Community Living. Burial will be in Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley, Colo.
