Deborah Myers
Deborah A. Myers, 42, of 2185 310th St., New London, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at University Hospitals in Iowa City from complications of an asthma attack.
Born April 9, 1956, in the Chicago area, she was the daughter of Norman and Betty Jane Walker Krier. She married William W. Myers June 1, 1974, at Mount Pleasant.
She was a 1974 graduate of New London High School and worked at Hy-Vee Food Store in Mount Pleasant. For the past 15 years she was an I.S.O auditor at Motorola, Inc. in Mount Pleasant. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Stephanie Myers of rural New London; two sons, Chad Myers of Central College at Pella, and Tim Myers of Simpson College at Indianola; two brothers, Timothy and Norman Krier of South Venice, Fla.; and one sister, Diane Day of Plano, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Weir Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
The funeral for Mrs. Myers will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant, with the Revs. Thomas Palmer and Kiboko I. Kiboko officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, southeast of Mount Pleasant.
A memorial has been established for the Mount Pleasant Community High School Athletic Department.
