FT. WAYNE, Ind. - Mt. Pleasant native and former Burlington resident Robert E. Case died Friday, at Ft. Wayne.

He was born April 22, 1926, to the late Chester and Eva Case Hill*. He married Barbara Beine December 31, 1958, at Galesburg, Ill.

Mr. Case was superintendent of the Holsum Bakery, Ft. Wayne.

He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving; His wife, two sons, Jeffrey Case, Burlington, and Timothy Case, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Nanette Davis, Burlington, and Mrs. Becky Moore, Monmouth, Ill.; one sister, Margaret Case, Mt. Pleasant; three half-sisters, Marcidell Spearman, and Melbalene Hostetter, both of West Burlington, and Marilyn Shippley(SIC), Kansas City, Mo.; two aunts, Mildred Koch , and Marie Case, Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren.

Sheagren Funeral Home will announce funeral plans.

*Biological father to Robert Earl Case was John S. Case. Chester Leroy Hills was his step-father since the marriage to Eva SMITH CASE HILLS in 1935.
