Theron Wendell Keith, 77, of Wayland, Died at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 1996, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

Born Feb. 27, 1919, at Wayland, he was the son of Alfred and Bessie Orn Keith. He married Anna Nalley, June 1966 at Mission, Texas.

He was a member of the Finley Chapel of United Methodist Church. He had farmed in the Wayland community before moving to Texas in 1955. He moved back to Wayland in April 1996.

Survivors include one brother, Marvin Keith of New London; and two sisters, Lucille Mast of Wayland and Mary Frances Graber of Crawfordsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

The funeral for Mr. Keith will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Finley Chapel of United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Nickelsen officiating. Burial will be in the Finley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at Finley Chapel.

Memorials have been established for the Wayland Rescue Unit and the Parkview Home of Wayland.
